Concurrent Algorithms as Space - time Recursion Equations
It is by now well recognized that VLSI technology has brought about a medium which allows the realization of orders of magnitude more computing elements per unit cost The more significant contribution of VLSI to Computer Science will be in the uti'ization of many hundreds or thousands of these elements concurrently to achieve a given comS?TM; ? 1S Clear ^ existence P of ^ innovative designs as ...
متن کاملSolving nonlinear space-time fractional differential equations via ansatz method
In this paper, the fractional partial differential equations are defined by modified Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative. With the help of fractional derivative and fractional complex transform, these equations can be converted into the nonlinear ordinary differential equations. By using solitay wave ansatz method, we find exact analytical solutions of the space-time fractional Zakharov Kuz...
متن کاملNonexponential evolution equations and operator ordering
NonexponeutiaI evolution equations can be treated using a formalism involving the evolution operator method, which, unlike the ordinary case, is not expressed in terms of exponential operators. The use of this technique requires particular care associated with the operator ordering. In this paper, we will present a first systematic approach to this type of problems. @ 2005 Elsevier Ltd. متن کاملOn certain time- and space-fractional evolution equations
In this article, we present first a new technique to prove, in a general case, the recent result of Cazenave, Dickstein and Weissler [6] on the blowing-up solutions to a temporally nonlocal nonlinear parabolic equation. Then, we study the blow-up rate and the global existence in time of the solutions. Furthermore, we show necessary conditions for global existence.
متن کاملSpace-time Isogeometric Analysis of Parabolic Evolution Equations
We present and analyze a new stable space-time Isogeometric Analysis (IgA) method for the numerical solution of parabolic evolution equations in fixed and moving spatial computational domains. The discrete bilinear form is elliptic on the IgA space with respect to a discrete energy norm. This property together with a corresponding boundedness property, consistency and approximation results for ...
